Intrinio Integration

Pull in historical market data & quotes to your wealth apps

Back to Integrations

Intrinio provides quotes and historical data for US exchange listed securities.

Setup

To get started, you’ll first need to sign up with Intrinio and create an account with Intrinio to get your API key. If you already have a Intrinio account, you can go ahead and sign in to retrieve the credentials.

Implementation

Once you have Intrinio credentials set up on the Integrations Admin, now we can begin to pull quotes. Our Intrinio integration supports the following data for US exchanges only. Please contact us if you require global exchanges:

Historical Prices

If you are using securities stored in Nucleus, you can simply pass in the security_id and start and end dates to retrieve historical price data. You may also pass in a ticker or array of tickers instead.

POST /integration/v1/market_data/historical

{
  "nucleus_security_id" : [
       "<security_id>",
       "<security_id>",
       "<security_id>"
  ],
  "start_date": "<yyyy-mm-dd>",
  "end_date": "<yyyy-mm-dd>"
}

Live Quotes

If you are using securities stored in Nucleus, you can simply pass in the nucleus_security_id and start and end dates to retrieve the current price quote. You may also pass in a ticker or array of tickers instead. Our Intrinio integration supports a type of delayed and realtime for quotes (license permitting).
